The Senior Batch Control Analyst is responsible for running the monthly short date disposition process and execution of charitable donation process for Abbott Nutrition. This role works with cross functional partners (Distribution QA, Marketing, Finance, Global Citizenship) to disposition upcoming short-dated product for destruct, extension, or charitable donation. The Senior Batch Control Analyst is engaged with a number of ad-hoc requests related to inventory batch control and disposition, including ad-hoc destructs, donations, UI shipments, and lot tracing.

What You’ll Work On

  • Track and process monthly short date inventory for destructs and charitable donations. Execute order creation in SAP.
  • Review and reconcile inventory discrepancies through investigation when SAP short date case count differs from physical cycle count.
  • Act as execution lead for monthly charitable donations to local area foodbanks.
  • Collaborate with Global Citizenship and Marketing teams for ad-hoc donations to local and national charitable organizations.
  • Collaborate with distribution centers and external vendors for ad-hoc inventory destructs.
  • Produce, create and distribute monthly financial reports summarizing donation costs of short dated, destroyed, excessive and or obsolete products. Provide supporting documentation to Global Citizenship and Finance for audit purposes.
  • Execute ad-hoc customer lot trace reporting.
  • Maintain accuracy of short date system and item classifications.
  • Manage inventory status control for UI shipment process.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
