Program AnalystJob Description Summary
Identifying, planning, and implementing significant structured change initiative for the plant. Must be skilled in team building and leadership, problem solving, and have a high level of analytical problem solving ability. Having a working knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes and business-related computer systems, as well as quality assurance is a plus.Job Description
- Responsible for planning functions of plant projects & programs
- Lead plant implementation of significant structured engineering change initiatives (ex. sales releases)
- - Chair regular cross-functional team meetings
- - Communicate program / project requirements
- - Track progress to program / project milestones
- - Report progress & resolve obstacles to implementation
- Assist with administration of lead plant cost requests, UCRS, MPPS, & lead-time development
- Monitor & promote progress of appropriations in support of plant projects
- Assure timely & qualified costs and spend to appropriated projects
- Coordinate lead requirements of equipment, materials, manpower, & methods to ensure timely project / program completion.
- Facilitate timely and organized launch of plant projects & programs.
- Manages cost request and appropriation processes for funding of approved capital projects.
- Nearly constant contact with others outside work group.
- Adheres to Corporate policies and procedures.
- Adheres to safety rules and regulations as required by local, state, and federal governments and maintains safety and good housekeeping standards.
- Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent training.
- High level of knowledge in manufacturing processes preferred.
- Working experience in program/ project management preferred.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High level of planning and organizational abilities.
- High level of analytical ability where problems are complex.
- Ability to work flexible work schedule across shifts as needed.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends required.
